Explore: The Partridge Inn, Augusta GA

There is simply nothing as rejuvenating and relaxing as taking a night or two away in a beautiful hotel. This past week, the kids, Heath, and I packed up some overnight bags and headed to The Partridge Inn in Augusta, Georgia. We were excited to celebrate our 5th anniversary and get away from the norm for a few days! Our stay certainly did not disappoint & I am so excited to share with you all about this amazing hotel and how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much to the staff and management for hosting us!

Why Family Pizza Night Is The Best Night

I could eat pizza every night. I know, I know. Balance. It’s what I tell myself. But there is absolutely no denying that pizza is a staple in our family dinner diet – because who can stay away from a delicious pizza pie for too long? There are so many reasons why family pizza night is one of our favorite nights of the month (or sometimes week!) but it’s gotten even better as of late.

My Skin Journey + 2 Minute Makeup Routine

Our skin is such a personal thing. I realize now that I am in my 20’s that growing up, skin is a huge deal – and I don’t think we realize it at the time. We worry about having acne, freckles, being too pale, too dark. We try to cover up with makeup and hope and pray that people won’t notice that blemish that showed up overnight. When I was in high school and going into college, I was very conscious of my skin & not very confident in how it looked or felt.

Where Faith and Fashion Meet

Ever since I can remember, fashion has been something I was extremely interested in. I used to have dreams of designing collections or owning a boutique, but those were not in the cards for me (at least not yet!) I have loved the way that God has morphed my love of so many things into a platform here on Faithfully Beautiful – where I can share what is on my heart and the things I am loving at the moment.

Finding The Perfect Family Car

Do you dream of having a new family car? Are you constantly looking around the school parking lot wondering which vehicle would be best for you? I’ve been there, and I know just what you are feeling. As moms with growing families, the vehicle you drive is extremely important and can make your days easier or much more complicated depending on if you have a car that is meant for you or not.

Back To School: Preschool Style

Back to school. One of my favorite memories from this time of year is getting to shop the latest styles and pick out my outfits for the first week of school. Of course, I cared from a young age and remember even for preschool being particular about what I wanted to wear. I can already see this trait in my son’s as I pick out their clothes and they say, “No mom, I wanna wear thisssss one!” It’s pretty amusing but I love how clothing is a personal expression of their personality and am excited to see them explore this area of creativity.

Easy Boho Inspired Braided Hairstyle

I am a lover of beautiful bold braids, texture, and lots of fun when it comes to hairstyles. I think when it comes to our hair many of us want what we don’t have. I grew up with baby fine bleach blonde hair & I never really knew how to get it to do, well… anything. I would be so envious of girls with waves and thick curls. Their hair was full and bouncy and fun, but what was mine? Even now, I know what my hair can do and can’t do and I have learned styles that give me what I’m looking for and that I can be confident in.
