Back To School: Preschool Style

Back to school. One of my favorite memories from this time of year is getting to shop the latest styles and pick out my outfits for the first week of school. Of course, I cared from a young age and remember even for preschool being particular about what I wanted to wear. I can already see this trait in my son’s as I pick out their clothes and they say, “No mom, I wanna wear thisssss one!” It’s pretty amusing but I love how clothing is a personal expression of their personality and am excited to see them explore this area of creativity.

This post has been sponsored by Crazy 8 but all opinions are 100% my own.

I used to work as a preschool teacher, and even then I always loved the days when parents dropped off their children and told us that they picked out their outfit for the day. Getting to see how their little minds create and pull together an outfit – no matter how perfectly styled or out there it may be is just the best. One of Ryland’s all-time favorite sayings is, “I’m awesome.” So humble, I know. Trust me… He didn’t learn that one for me *cough cough* dad. I love that we found a sweater from Crazy 8 that said just what he is thinking!

When it comes to back-to-school season, not all of us can go out and buy a different outfit for every single day of the week, but what we can do is find staples that will work throughout the entire school year. This is why I love the amazing selection of jeans for toddlers and kids that Crazy 8 showcases. There is nothing better than a good pair of denim jeans and honestly I think that little kids and some dark wash jeans are just the absolute cutest. Plus, they can be styled at the beginning of the year with a t-shirt and then as it cools down can be worn with sweaters and jackets by the middle of the school year. Jeans are the perfect versatile piece – even for preschoolers!

Head on over to Crazy 8 and take a look at their denim styles for the season! What are your favorite washes for your kiddos this year?

Spread the love
