How To Have A Productive Mom Break

If you are like me, nap times are the only mom breaks that happen during the day & the amount of STUFF I have to cram into 2 hours (if I’m lucky!) is crazy. I have realized that when I look at nap time as a time for me to do alllll the boring things, I tend not to be as productive. Instead, I’ve changed my mindset. Nap time is ME time & I am going to maximize the potential of those few hours to be as productive as possible, while still treating myself to a well-deserved MOM BREAK.

Treat Yourself with MILKA OREO Chocolate Candy (+ $25 Walmart Giveaway!)

I am a huge sweets lover and the type of person that needs to end their day (or start it) with some kind of chocolatey goodness. There is nothing better to me than a great treat after a long day of being a mama & I know that other moms are with me on that one. The long running joke about moms sneaking chocolate when their kids can’t see them? Yep. That’s totally me. One of our families favorite desserts is Oreo cookies, so when I saw that MILKA and OREO made a line of candy, I couldn’t resist. It’s pretty amazing & you should definitely #TryOREOChocolate!

Add Some Greens, Mama

I know that I don’t need to go into a rant all about how eating healthy is the most important thing we can do for our families – we all know it’s the truth. The reality, however, is that we find ourselves in a place where it isn’t always easy to do so & then throw in how picky the littles can be & all of a sudden the house can become a snack-haven instead of a fresh kitchen. This month, I wanted to take some time to refresh my outlook on what we were putting in our bodies. I wanted to make sure that we were adding delicious & exceptionally great nutrition into our everyday meals! I have always been interested in juicing so we got the chance to try out the Veestro Juice Cleanse!

Cooking Homemade Meals When You Can’t Cook

When I say, I’m not a cook… I mean that. I’m totally guilty of searching on Pinterest for things like, “How to cook for my family when I don’t want to cook?” Anyone else totally with me? I am not very comfortable in the kitchen and going to the grocery store is one of those tasks that (especially with kids) just haunts me throughout the week. I’m all for eating good food. In fact, I’d say I’m pretty good at that! 😉 I am stoked to share with you a service that has made cooking so much easier and even (dare I say it) more fun! This mama needed some help in this department, so I’m sharing 5 reasons why Dinner Thyme is perfect for me!

If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, delicious breakfast food may be the winner! I am a sucker for tasty waffles and Eggo Buttermilk Waffles have been my favorite to keep stored in my freezer for as long as I can remember. With how easy and quick they are to make, they are definitely a great option for busy families and people on the go in the mornings. In order to make breakfast a little more fun and exciting for my little guys, I decided to make some breakfast waffle pops and I’m pumped to share them with you!

Tampa Moms, Wanna Save Money?

It’s almost here! The grand opening of Sprouts Farmers Market in Carrollwood is only a week away and I simply cannot wait! I’ve shared tons of reasons why I am excited about the opening from all the incredible foods that they serve to their mission in our very own community, but now I’m sharing the details on the big week ahead and how it can help you save money – during the opening and beyond! Will I get the chance to see you there!? When are you heading out to the store?

(No Guilt) Groceries On A Budget

“I want to eat healthy and more natural… I really do.” How many times does that run through your head? As moms, we want to give our kids the best there is, but our budget doesn’t always allow for that. When I’m browsing through the grocery store, the increase in price from regualr snacks and products to their organic counterparts is mind-blowing. We all work hard to grant our kids and families the best we can, but can’t it just be a little bit easier on our wallets?

Toddler-Approved Infused Water Recipes

It may be cold outside, but we still need to be sure that we are staying hydrated. And no, I’m sorry… Hot cocoa all day everyday doesn’t cut it. 🙂 Ryland has been on a “juice kick” lately, but I don’t want him constantly having sugary drinks, so since he was getting bored with the regular water and milk selection, we decided to change it up a bit and infuse some water! With three yummy ingredients we made a few different flavors and I think you (& your littles) will enjoy them as much as we did!
