There is simply nothing better in the world to me than being cuddled up, cozy and warm, during the winter season. I am a total fan of the fall + winter times and overall the coziness that they bring. Every year, I pull out my same old sweatpants and jackets that I’ve been wearing year after year, because my excuse is, “I’m only wearing them at home, who cares?” But this year, I decided to update my winter warddrobe and bring in pieces that make me feel great about myself, that are amazing and lasting quality, and that I am not confimed to only wearing inside my home.
It’s back to school time! Many of us mamas are sending our child for the first time to their Pre-K class while some are releasing their child for the fifth time. No matter what stage of motherhood you are in at the moment, we all know the feelings that accompany a new school year. There are some of us, however, that have not yet sent our kids off to class, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not just as diligent about our morning routine. Getting my kids ready for the years ahead is important to me, so we have activities that we will be implementing this school year that are perfect for educating toddlers.
It’s back to school season & being out and about shopping brings back all the memories of when I was in school! This time of year can be exciting, hard, bittersweet, or a combination of them all! Although my kids aren’t heading to school, I am still excited about all the new brands and fun foods that are perfect for any busy family to pack in lunch boxes, diaper bags, and more! The perfect snacks for during and after school and activities? I’ve got you covered!
I could eat pizza every night. I know, I know. Balance. It’s what I tell myself. But there is absolutely no denying that pizza is a staple in our family dinner diet – because who can stay away from a delicious pizza pie for too long? There are so many reasons why family pizza night is one of our favorite nights of the month (or sometimes week!) but it’s gotten even better as of late.
Do you dream of having a new family car? Are you constantly looking around the school parking lot wondering which vehicle would be best for you? I’ve been there, and I know just what you are feeling. As moms with growing families, the vehicle you drive is extremely important and can make your days easier or much more complicated depending on if you have a car that is meant for you or not.
There is something so instinctively magical about the summertime. I think deep down, all of us get a little giddy when we know it’s on its way, & I am definitely no exception. There is an amped up joy and a desire to get all your family and friends together to enjoy the sunshine. I have always been one for getting out and truly soaking in the season & this year will be absolutely no different! We will be traveling all summer – a new state every month – but I have a sure way to make friends wherever we go, & I am certain that there will be tons of new faces and yummy BBQ’s in our future!
Living in a small space can have it’s challenges. Add on that the small space has wheels and no permanent address & there are even more things to overcome! Living in our RV has been a blast so far, but since it is our home away from home for the foreseeable future, I wanted to make sure that it received all the charm and the personal touches as our house had. Of course, there isn’t as much wall space and certainly not as much storage space, so making it work has been a game of Tetris. I am absolutely loving the details that we have added & thanks to my friends at MPix, we have made our camper feel more like home.
