I believe fall is the perfect time for exploring. The weather starts to get cooler, the leaves are changing, and its just the ideal time to be outdoors. I love the sense of adventure that my two son’s have in their little souls. They could pick up and play outside all day everyday if I let them. In fact, most days we have been! I always try to be in on the action and spend as much time as I can with them (you know, while they still want me around) so making sure that I am feeling up to the task is #1. As the seasons change, I have put together a toddler friendly fall themed scavenger hunt that kids of any age can enjoy!
“The happiest place on earth.” Without a shadow of a doubt I feel this way about Walt Disney World. From as young an age as I can remember, my summers were spent in this magical place with my parents and brother and as I grew up I continued to spend countless holidays and celebrations in my favorite place. Once I met my husband, Disney trips became our tradition and the love has only expanded as our family has! Disney holds a special place in my heart. Not just for the fun we have each time we go, but for the amazing memories I have from every single part of my life.
It’s been a little over 4 months now! I cannot believe it. If you are just stumbling onto my blog let me fill you in. 4 months ago, we left our home, sold everything that didn’t fit in an RV, and started a life of travel. It was a crazy idea & we had no experience ever pulling a trailer or living away from Florida but we knew that it was a dream we wanted to accomplish. We made it happen and we couldn’t be more thrilled that we did. It has been an adventure – filled with precious memories with our kids, amazing new relationships built with friends around the country, and new zip codes we can check off the map!
There is simply nothing as rejuvenating and relaxing as taking a night or two away in a beautiful hotel. This past week, the kids, Heath, and I packed up some overnight bags and headed to The Partridge Inn in Augusta, Georgia. We were excited to celebrate our 5th anniversary and get away from the norm for a few days! Our stay certainly did not disappoint & I am so excited to share with you all about this amazing hotel and how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much to the staff and management for hosting us!
Do you dream of having a new family car? Are you constantly looking around the school parking lot wondering which vehicle would be best for you? I’ve been there, and I know just what you are feeling. As moms with growing families, the vehicle you drive is extremely important and can make your days easier or much more complicated depending on if you have a car that is meant for you or not.

Each and every day should have an element of adventure, excitement, and inspiration. I truly believe that these things can be found and created no matter what you are doing, where you are, or what your life currently looks like. Making time for adventure may be easier than you have thought – but just like anything, you have to want to find it in order to experience it! My family and I are big believers in making family adventures very real in our lives and you can break away from the mundane and do it too!
Theme parks are our jam. We absolutely love getting the chance to spend the day exploring and watching the kids just have an absolute blast. I have to be honest though. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve been to a theme park that was new to me! I had just as much fun as the boys since I was able to experience LEGOLAND for the first time with them. We didn’t know what to expect. Would it be good for toddlers? Fun for the whole family? Worth the whole day? I can definitely say that we were beyond thrilled with the time we got to spend here so I want to share it with you!
