Just say the word chocolate & I am in! That trait has been passed onto my kids as well – so in this family, we love to find excuses to have some chocolatey goodness in the morning. I also love recipes that are simple and easy and quick because who has time for big messes and shopping for long lists of ingredients? As we live and travel on the road in our RV, we don’t have much space for lots of pots and pans and if you know that feeling, then you know just how important it is to find a yummy meal that everyone loves! The spring is quickly approaching & I know that a lot of people decide to go camping and spend more time outdoors, so if that’s you, then this meal will work perfectly!
Aquariums have definitely been one of our favorite stops when we visit a new city! There is something so incredible about seeing the various underwater life and how each town showcases it so differently. Our boys are definitely water-loving kids & watching the fish swim, stingrays play, and sharks prowl is just so exciting to them! I am always amazed at how much love and detail goes into these facilities and the Downtown Aquarium in Houston was no exception. Everything about this aquarium was geared towards having fun & building excitement! We are so honored to have been able to visit and I’m excited to show you our day as we explored!
OH, Walt Disney World! I get excited just writing a post about this magical place! Long time readers know my love for Disney runs deep & my family and I are avid Disney-vacationers. We have stayed at a ton of different resorts, in and around the Orlando area, and we know quite a bit about what to expect in different hotels. Some of my most frequently asked questions on my blog and social media is about where to stay when coming to Disney. I can recommend so many great places – but I wanted to give a shoutout to one that gets undervalued (in my eyes!) in the greater Disney community. If you have been looking at the Disney All Star Sports Resort, here’s what you should expect!
Staying in Orlando is one of my family’s very favorite getaways! My boys love the excitement & the joy of the theme parks so we are always eager to get back to the area. Another one of our favorite things to do as a family is explore new resorts that we have not yet been to. As we travel, we get asked a lot about the best places to stay that are kid friendly and that are worth the booking. No vacation has more curious minds than those who are planning a Disney World vacation! We absolutely love chatting about our best tips and tricks and I am excited to add our new favorite resort to that list – the beautiful Omni Resort at Champions Gate!
Our family absolutely loves theme parks! As we travel, making our way to new parks is always at the top of our list. I grew up coming to SeaWorld, but we have not yet had the chance to bring our boys to the park! This winter was the perfect time to go and experience everything that the theme park had to offer! With short lines and beautiful cool weather, we totally enjoyed our day to the fullest! If you have been wondering what SeaWorld has for you and your toddlers or small children, then stay tuned! I gathered up our 4 favorite attractions that were age appropriate and incredibly entertaining!
There is something about superheroes that makes a child’s imagination just soar! Over the past year, I have seen Ryland’s love of Spiderman, Captain America, & Iron Man fuel him as he runs, jumps, and “flys!” I know that the Marvel heroes make him excited, help him to feel strong, and give him a sense of adventure. When I heard that Marvel Universe Live was coming to Tampa during the time that we would be home for the new year – I knew without a doubt that my kids would love to be a part of it! The show, held at Amalie Arena, was everything I expected and more & my boys were engaged and excited for every minute of it!
It is always great to be back home in Florida, getting to see people we love & getting the chance to visit the places that have brought our family so many memories! Busch Gardens is one of those special places to my husband and I. Over the years we have had season passes and even spent Ryland’s First Birthday & Heath’s First Father’s Day there! One thing we had not yet done, however, was explore the park when it has it’s amazing Christmas Town displays. This year, with our boys so in love with the magic of the holiday season, we could not wait to bring them and experience the park not only during the day for all the fun and excitement it brings, but also after dark for the spectacular light displays and activities.
We are a travel-loving family! I’m sure that if you have been around my blog for a while, you already know that! However, even though we travel FULL-TIME, we are always in our RV, which means we never have to pack up a suitcase to bring anywhere. It’s amazing, but lately we have found ourselves wanting to branch out a little more. We have been going to fun resorts and staying with family & friends, which has meant, PACKING. Since we don’t have the space in our camper to store suitcases or luggage, I started looking to find travel gear that would work well with our lives & boy, oh boy, have I found it!
