Explore: Christmas Town at Busch Gardens
It is always great to be back home in Florida, getting to see people we love & getting the chance to visit the places that have brought our family so many memories! Busch Gardens is one of those special places to my husband and I. Over the years we have had season passes and even spent Ryland’s First Birthday & Heath’s First Father’s Day there! One thing we had not yet done, however, was explore the park when it has it’s amazing Christmas Town displays. This year, with our boys so in love with the magic of the holiday season, we could not wait to bring them and experience the park not only during the day for all the fun and excitement it brings, but also after dark for the spectacular light displays and activities.
I want to thank Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for allowing us to come for the day & enjoy everything that this theme park has to offer! We loved every minute of it & being there with the kids old enough to ride the rides and really take in the sights – it was priceless!
There is so much to do at Busch Gardens! This is a park that is jam packed with fun for the entire family! From kiddie rides to thrill roller coasters like you have never seen before, it truly has it all. One of the boys favorite parts of the day was getting to explore Jungala – which is a park of the park near the Tiger & Orangoutang Exhibits that is a total kid paradise! They were able to climb through the rope course playground while spying on the animals nearby. There is water play for those hot days (which are plenty in this Florida sun!).
My husband is an adrenaline junky, so roller coasters are his jam! The lines were short so he ran onto most of the rides within just minutes. There are not many places that have such a great selection of thrilling roller coasters like the Busch Gardens in Tampa has. That is one thing you must experience for sure. What is also amazing about this park is that there is just as much to do for the littles. Train rides, play areas, and animals to watch all around the entire park!
Christmas Town did not disappoint either! The beauty of the lights was seriously impressive & the whole entire park was just stunning. It was so fun for the kids to see the trees and lights everywhere we went. Once it got dark, we headed over to the dedicated Christmas Town area where there was so much more fun to be had. There was holiday treats and characters to meet! Even a Christmas train ride. In all honesty, we did not even get to see everything in the one day we were there! I would love for next year to spend a few days throughout December exploring the park!
