Faithfully Beautiful

Explore: Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Are you looking for somewhere great to stay while going to Disney? Planning a trip to the Orlando area & don’t know where to start? I have the place for you! I know how overwhelming it can be finding a hotel in the area. How do you know which ones are great and family friendly? Will the facilities be as they claim to be? We have traveled and stayed in the Disney World area too many times to count, but I am so excited to share this new resort we discovered that you need to try out next time you are planning your trip!

Thank you to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa for our complimentary stay! All opinions are 100% my own.

It’s absolutely no secret that we are self proclaimed Disney addicts! Although we travel all year round, we seem to make our way back to Orlando every few months (or every other month 😉 ) to get our fun fix in! We have stayed in a ton of different places over the years, but not all were up to the standards that we would have hoped. I love reading reviews from others online because you can hear the real deal about the resort & that’s one of the reasons why I am so excited to share our experience at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa with you.

First off is FIRST IMPRESSION– because, who doesn’t immediately form an impression of somewhere as soon as you arrive? As we pulled up, I instantly could tell it was going to be beautiful. The outside was large and well kept with hundreds of rooms! It was in a great area – close to the attractions and right outside the outlet mall and plenty of restaurants. We were about 15 minutes from each and every place we needed to be over those few days, which was perfect!

The CHECK IN process was also super smooth! Another thing I loved was the security aspect that was new to a resort like this that we have stayed in before. In order to get to a certain floor in the elevator, you need to use your room key, guaranteeing that only guests will be roaming the halls.

To us, the most important thing to a hotel stay is the ROOM EXPERIENCE & it definitely did not disappoint! We knew we had a two bedroom suite, but this place was massive and I was pleasantly surprised when we opened our door! We had so much space, a full kitchen, washer-dryer, a balcony, and two large bathrooms! It was more than we could have hoped for & much more space than we even needed – which means this would be awesome to split with some family or friends! It felt like our home away from home. That’s exactly how it should feel when you come to a resort for a relaxing time with your loved ones!

I think my favorite part about the entire room(s) was the huge jetted bathtub! The kids called it the “small swimming pool” and they bathed two times a day in it (can you say mom win!?)

Another one of my favorite parts of any vacation is having coffee on the balcony, because is there anything that screams “I am on vacation!” more than that!? The Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa room we were in had the perfect view of the Pirate Pool – which was not only beautiful, but so fun to see each morning! Since we were here during the holiday season, there was even some Christmas decor up & so we got some views of the Christmas lights at night as well – bonus!!!

We came for this visit just a few days before my birthday & I even got a little treat! I got to sneak away for a few hours to enjoy the most luxurious hot stone pedicure from the resort’s Reflections Spa & Salon. I have been craving some special mama spa time for sooooo long, so I could not be more excited that I got the chance to getaway! The whole entire experience was amazing. From the beautiful waiting rooms, where I was given hot coffee and a few minutes to wind down, to the entire spa staff – everything was perfect! The pedicure itself was 75 minutes long and made me feel like a whole new woman. If you have ever walked around Disney carrying two toddlers for a few days in a row, you deserve to pamper yourself with one of their pedicures or massages! I may just have to make this a new tradition! Thank you so much to all the lovely ladies who not only made me feet look brand new and soft as a baby’s bottom, but who enjoyed great conversation with me. I cannot wait to come back!

I absolutely love this resort & I cannot wait to plan another trip there! If you are researching the Orlando/Lake Buena Vista area for great family friendly resorts – definitely add this one to the top of your list!
