Faithfully Beautiful

Explore: The Partridge Inn, Augusta GA

There is simply nothing as rejuvenating and relaxing as taking a night or two away in a beautiful hotel. This past week, the kids, Heath, and I packed up some overnight bags and headed to The Partridge Inn in Augusta, Georgia. We were excited to celebrate our 5th anniversary and get away from the norm for a few days! Our stay certainly did not disappoint & I am so excited to share with you all about this amazing hotel and how much we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much to the staff and management for hosting us!

The Room

As we planned our stay here, we knew that our room was going to be the #1 attraction! We were longing for some good ol’ rest and relaxation, so cozy beds and big baths were exactly what we were hoping for. This room was everything I could have imagined! It was one of the biggest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in – which was perfect for us with our family of 4! We felt comfortable and spread out, with two large (and may I add amazingly comfortable beds!), couch & desk area, big beautiful windows, and a white marble bathroom that I have only ever dreamed of.

The boys slept so well and they really enjoyed making their home here for a few days. I was actually amazed at how they drifted so sleep so quickly and just sunk into the massive plush pillows. I think we found the secret to getting toddlers to sleep through the night away from home – Partridge Inn pillows! The sun blocking curtains certainly helped as well! We spent time cuddling and watching cartoons while drinking coffee and eating snacks. Everything a vacation should be.

The Food

Being away from home means finding food where you are at & many experiences have taught me that the food you can come across is not always ideal. You know those hotels that boast of a “delicious breakfast buffet” that sadly leave you disappointed? I am happy to say that this was not the case at The Partridge Inn! Top of the line food! We got the chance to try the breakfast buffet both mornings that we were here & there was so much to choose from that I was full before I even got a chance to go back for more. Our personal favorites were the made to order omelets and waffles that were simply delicious! We also headed into their restaurant for lunch one day as well and I must say that their sandwiches and burgers are nothing short of gourmet. If you are planning a stay here, be sure to take advantage of their incredible restaurant right inside!

The Hotel

As soon as you pull up to The Partridge Inn you are instantly taken aback by it’s beauty and historic façade. It is a stunning building that has been in Augusta for centuries, but the moment you step inside you are transported to a modern oasis. I love that so much of the historic detail is kept but that it is also so beautifully remodeled into a top of the line hotel. There are details, like the door frames, the windows, and the fencing that seem to be original to the mansion, but then the added elements of a beautifully done pool and stunning modern furniture that really bring new life to the space. The Partridge Inn is a super romantic and intimate place. It is not large, but it feels spacious and you would never know that you are in the middle of a bustling town with how secluded and peaceful the whole facility seems.

The pool was one of our favorite features, because who doesn’t want to take a dip on a 90 degree Georgia summer day? The pool is right in the midst of the hotel within its inner courtyard, so you have views of the beautiful historic elements right above you. With plenty of seating and fun ledges in the pool for the kids to sit and play on, this was perfect for our family & anyone who is looking for a relaxing afternoon away.

I could not have asked for a better few days away with my little family & am so grateful that we got to experience a piece of Georgia history! I hope you learned a little more about the hotel and what you can expect when you come to visit!

Book your stay!

Spread the love
