Tampa Moms, Have you been to Glazer Children’s Museum?
We are back home in Tampa Bay and it feels so good! After traveling for 2 years straight, we are excited to be back in the area that we are from & to get to introduce our kids to the beauty and fun that Tampa holds! One of the first places that I was excited to bring my boys back to was the Glazer Children’s Museum! This facility is absolutely incredible – with 2 stories of interactive exhibits, places for them to run and play & get their energy out, and tons of hands on experiments and activities to choose from. If you are a local Tampa mama or vacationing to the area, the Glazer Children’s Museum is a must-see. Let’s not forget that the summer is coming up & the sunshine is a great and all, but sometimes we need a day inside and this is one of those places that will keep your whole family entertained for hours on end!
The best part about a children’s museum is how learning is made FUN & Glazer does this in such an amazing way! There are so many exhibits – everything from water play to rock climbing to a firehouse to their very own Publix to shop in. As a mom, I love getting to watch my kids find so much joy in activities that are really teaching them so much, but all they feel is the FUN that they are enjoying! The first time that I took my kids, they were 1 and 3 years old and they loved every bit of it. The Glazer Children’s Museum really has something for all ages. This time around, Landon had just turned 3 and Ryland is closer to 5 years old and they loved it even more. I know I have received questions in the past about how old should kids be before bringing them, but I think any kiddos that are walking can find something that they will enjoy in each and every part of this museum!
Another awesome thing about Glazer is how they are always creating special events and activities to make it new and exciting for their members. They also host many seasonal events to attend that really involve the community and spark new interests for the kids. As we were playing, it was PI Day (3.14) and the staff put on a Pie in the Face activity outside the museum. It looked like such a blast and something totally unexpected that we got to watch! There are rotating exhibits that come through with new themes and characters and hands on activities – all great to make this place somewhere that you will never get bored of!
As a mama of littles, I know how important it is for us to find places where we feel our kids can PLAY and LEARN and EXPLORE while we also have peace of mind that it is safe and age-appropriate for them. Now that we are back in Tampa Bay, I am so glad that we have this incredible children’s museum at our disposal and am thrilled to let it become a part of my young kid’s lives. We are already planning to join in on some of their fun this spring and summer & beyond! Stay tuned for the new exhibits and programs that they have coming out this year! Will you be there with us!?
Have you been to Glazer Children’s Museum before? Plan a trip this summer, you won’t regret it!
